Home Staging

What is “Home Staging” and why it is important to invest in it? The concept of “Home Staging” is the process of the presentation of your property in the best possible way, which helps produce a strong first impression on the customers and close the deal at the desired or even higher price. This approach is generally considered an investment which generates profit on the initial expenses in the long term. “Home Staging” techniques are applicable to all types of properties whether in the residential sector (sale of a house or condo) or in the commercial.

Home Staging Tips

Faster sale!

The real estate agent in charge of your property, will undoubtedly advise you to take advantage of using home staging, because it allows your property to stand out from many otherwise equivalent offers available on the market, and thus attract more prospective buyers faster.

Better price!

It’s hard to sell a property whose potential has been exploited to the maximum; however when cleverly staging your property you can significantly boost its market value! Home staging allows a buyer and is or her representative less room to negotiate your desired price.

Return on the investment!

Home staging should be considered rather as an investment and not an unnecessary expense. The amount of money invested in the decoration and well-targeted cosmetic renovation, will help convince the buyer to accept the desired price, and will be recovered at least 100% or more by the the end of the transaction.

To stand out on the market!

Home staging helps your property to outshine the competitors. While the buyer may be interested in multiple otherwise equivalent options a properly staged property will always get more noticed.

Home Staging is here to stay.

In recent years home staging has become an essential component in the process of selling properties especially in the high-priced properties segment. Considering its benefits and positive effects it is expected that it will also gain popularity among low and medium price segment properties.

  • Coffee maker, toaster, microwave, telephone, etc must be removed from the counter-top in the kitchen, as they clutter space and make your kitchen look smaller.
  • Minimize the kitchen table by removing panels. This will create more space.
  • Your kitchen cabinets will be opened by the buyers, make sure everything is clean, especially under the sink.
  • Do you have a pet? Make sure the smell and your pet’s presence is not too intimidating for visitors.
  • Decorate your home with touches of color, towels, rugs, trinkets, etc.
